much rather would I show
my face to you
filled with a brilliant smile
the one that people
really want to see
alas I cannot be obliging
my smile is pure
and true and filled with light
not like the mask that
it became in others faces
when its sincerity was lost
as one by one
all that could be its inspiration
is on its way to being gone...
